What is a guage of yarn that is between embroidery floss & the Lily Sugar n' Cream brand?
I want to do some delicate crocheting but not SUPER delicate...I want it to be more firm than then embroidery floss guage, or tatting/thread crochet.

We purchased this crochet thread for a Senior Citizen who tats and crochets every day. She has everything else in the world she needs, but always need more thread. It is almost impossible for her to get to a supply source. Well, no more. We get her enough to last till next gift time. She loves the quality of this thread and the wide range of colors. Crochet Thread – Size 10 – Color 1
We will be ordering more soon for her Birthday. Problem solved!
I ordered 3 balls of this July 2006, loving that INTENSE, deep shade of WARM ROSE. Unfortunately, it is NOT the color shown here, which was a huge disappointment (strangely enough, the warm teal, & goldenrod, were color-correct, so why not the warm rose?!). The price of $1.99, & the quality of this mercerized sz.3 fashion cotton crochet thread, is unbeatable IMHO.
Another bone to pick–where are the METALLIC colors??? The yardage info mentions a difference (50 yards LESS) for metallics, but why bother when NO metallics are available from seller anyway???
The feel of this product is super-soft, high gloss sheen, crochets like a dream! Too bad the color is so muted in reality, that it should be called a watered down or LUKEWARM Rose, heh heh. The color is a FADED warm rose at best. I hope this review helps.
